Levittown's Favorite Lanes, Best Prices Around

533 bowlers agree: great games, low prices, and electric nightlife on Long Island.

About Us

Levittown Lanes has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way, by packing the house every single night. At 56 Tanners Lane, this is the spot Long Islanders keep coming back to, not because there's nothing else nearby, but because nothing else compares. With over 533 reviews and a loyal following of league bowlers, casual groups, and date-night regulars, the numbers speak for themselves.

The moment the lights dim for the evening session, the energy shifts. Party lights sweep the lanes, lane guides project a glowing path to the pins, and the music hits right. Reviewers call out the night special by name, a $20 deal that turns a Tuesday into something worth talking about. It's the kind of place where a first visit rarely stays the first.

Leagues run most days of the week, which tells you everything about the community this place has built. Families roll frames on Sunday mornings, competitive bowlers sharpen their games through the week, and friend groups chase strikes well past midnight on weekends. Levittown Lanes is simply where bowling happens on Nassau County's South Shore.

What We Offer

Open seven days a week, Levittown Lanes offers open bowling across a full house of lanes, with prices that regulars consistently call the lowest in the area at any hour of the day. No need to wait for a discount window, affordable games are the baseline here, not the exception.

The night bowling experience is a genuine draw: party lighting, projected lane guides, and a soundtrack that keeps energy high from first frame to last. It's a full atmosphere, not just a gimmick. Group bookings, birthday parties, and corporate outings fit naturally into the space, and the league schedule means competitive bowlers always have a home here.

Sunday hours open early at 9:00 AM, making it the go-to morning activity for families who want to get out of the house before the afternoon crowds arrive. Weekday afternoons start at 2:00 PM, with Friday and Saturday open from noon straight through to midnight, giving every schedule a window to get on the lanes.

"Out of all the local lanes levitown is the most busy and the reason is obviously that they are the best. The prices per game are the lowest at any time of day. They have busy leauges most days so there's something for everyone Pro shop salesman knows his stuff. Watched me throw the ball for a game amd gave me tips. Set me up with a sick fingertip ball. Will be comin there more."

"My husband and I have tried to make a reservation online and it wasn’t working so my husband called and was told if it wouldn’t go through then the time wasn’t available. So I try different time slots and it kept saying 3 available so I tried to book it a few times and it wouldn’t let me so I called back. I spoke with Joe who told me he is not the “guru” of the website and doesn’t know. He said he can see someone trying to put in a reservation. I said ok can we just come in and he said it’s first come first serve and they had 25 booked reservations. Now I can understand it’s busy but when I call and you answer you are the representative of that bowling alley. Don’t tell me you’re not the “guru” of the website and basically you cannot help me. Learn some customer service skills! I know there are other places out there but people need to have a better attitude especially if you’re working with the public!"

"Went for the first time with some friends to catch their night special for $20. The night started great with the vibes being high (good music, party lights, lane guides projected onto the lanes) but closer to midnight they randomly turned the lights on and started cleaning up. We were a little surprised since their Google hours show they close at 1 am but I guess they didn’t update it with the new hours. We got the message we had to leave so we wrapped it up but it definitely dulled the experience a little. I would still recommend as they have cheap deals for bowling and the vibes were fun on a Saturday night. Just maybe come a little earlier in the night instead. TLDR: fun place but note they actually close at 12 am instead of 1 am as advertised."

"We’ve been at Levittown Lanes a few times over the years, even hosted birthday parties there. The place itself is outdated and rundown compared to other bowling alleys in the area, but it’s got bowling lanes and it’s cheaper so that didn’t keep us from coming back. The 2-star rating is due to the terrible customer service provided by who I think is the supervisor, Mike. We’ve seen him there during some of our visits and he’s not warm and fuzzy, but he usually gets us our lanes and completes the transactions so it’s nothing to really complain about… until our experience today. From the moment we walked it to the almost empty building, he was rude and made us feel like we’re bothering him simply by coming in. We got our shoes and lanes, then we were told that our gift card couldn’t be applied to our games without giving us any valid explanation. Mike’s suggestion is for the purchaser to call the GM on Monday to ask for a refund. We asked if it’s possible for him to ask the GM if there’s any way to troubleshoot the issue because we’re sure we’re not the first gift card users and this was the second time our large group was attempting to bowl and use the gift card. After a quick call, he returns with a solution and voila, we can go ahead and bowl. Mind you, my group ignored Mike’s rudeness throughout the exchange. The balance of the gift card could also be applied towards our food purchases so Mike had to tell the concession worker what our available credit was but told him the wrong total. At the end of 2+ hours of bowling while I was settling the food tab, I went back to the Mike to confirm the gift card balance, and he was just a jerk… he insisted on “helping” me ahead of a group that was at the counter first, wouldn’t let me finish my sentence and instead assumed he knew what I was trying to say. At that point I’ve had it and spoke above his interruptions, which is when he realized he gave the concession stand worker the wrong available balance. He didn’t apologize for his rudeness, told the server the correct balance amount, and then proceeded to help the other group. I went back to the concession stand with the worker, thanked him for his help during our visit and handed him a tip, then I apologized for the uncomfortable exchange I had with the supervisor. Mike came over before I left the food counter, and I told him directly that he shouldn’t work in customer service if he’s going to treat the customers the way he was treating anyone that came to the main desk today, and left. There’s still a small balance left on the gift card but we won’t be going back after that terrible experience."

"Worst bowling alley I've ever been to. the most horrible pizza you will ever eat. Terrible service from the bartender. The dirtiest bowling balls you will ever touch. There is a step after you throw your ball and are walking back to your seat, that you will trip on over and over again while you are bowling. I would never go back."
